The East Fishkill Training Center is located in the rear of the administration building at 2502 route 52. This building was constructed in 1997 to help facilitate training for the members of the District. As the housing in the area continues to expand at a rapid rate this also increases the population and directly impacts the increasing demand for fire protection and EMS. We need to do what we can to help maintain our membership and also make sure it continues to expand to ensure the safety of our community. By adding the training center we are now able to allow our members to train in our own town as opposed to traveling to Poughkeepsie, where the only other available training facility is located in the County. Having training in East Fishkill allows for a few things: if there is an incident in our Town, we are still able to respond to it to do our job, which we can’t do from Poughkeepsie. This also helps maintain the membership, by allowing people to train where they live, saving close to an hour of travel time.  Many people work in Westchester and other far away places making time very limited.

We strive to be the best and do our best, and beside the many hours of training required by the state we also require substantial training of our own. This assures that you, the public will always get the best service for your family and your property if ever needed. With our facility we are able to fight car fires, simulate structure fires with smoke, extricate people from a four story burning building, train with our own fire hydrants as well as fill our own Scott bottles (air tanks used for breathing)-the list is endless.  We practice extrication on all different types of automobiles (which we have on hand), so if the time comes that you need our help- we’ll know the best way to get you out fast and also safely.  We also hold state training classes at our facility.

TRAIN, TRAIN, TRAIN it’s a LIFESAVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
